Pack 46 will be going on a fall camping overnight as part of the Spooky-ree at Phillippo Scout Reservation (outside of Cannon Falls). In order to attend you MUST register ASAP. Details at the end of this post.
The details:
1) This is FAMILY camp. All are welcome, siblings included. Scouts/siblings must have at least one parent/guardian in attendance. The BSA does not permit Scouts to sleep in tents with an adult that is not their parent/guardian. This means no sending your child off with a friend and their parent for this weekend.
2) Location. We are camping at Phillippo Scout Reservation in Cannon Falls. It is about 45 minutes south of the Twin Cities. It is the camp that we have used for fall camp for the past few years. Easy to get to, and a great location. It’s located at 30654 32nd Ave Way, Cannon Falls, MN 55009.
3) Activities. The Spooky-ree will include BB Guns, carnival games, caramel apples, “Spooky Trail”, bounce pillow, board games, hayride, “Trunk or treat” and campfires.
4) Schedule.
Friday (dinner on your own)
6:00 p.m. – Check-in and Registration
6:30 – 10:00 – Campsite Set-Up and Pack Time

8:00 a.m. – Breakfast
9:00 – 11:50 – Morning Program
12:00 – Lunch
1:00 – 4:50 – Afternoon Program
5:00 – Dinner
7:00 – 8:30 – Spooky Trail and Skits
Sunday
8:00 a.m. – Breakfast
Pack up and head home after breakfast
5) Accommodations. This is tent camping, and you need to bring a tent for your family. However, there are families that might have spare tents, or you could rent one from REI (or other places) for the weekend. Don’t let the lack of a tent stop you – we can work it out!
6) Food. Pack 46 is going to organize breakfast on Saturday and Sunday for everyone in our group. We are selecting to have lunch and dinner provided for us on Saturday by the camp. We will also have a campfire snack in the evening (can you guess what that will be‽).
7) Cost. The cost for camping and food is as follows:
$20 per scout
$25 per sibling (age 5-12)
$15 per adult
