If you are new to scouting, please set up an account with the Northern Star Council for yourself and then register your new scout. If you already have an account, please log in and then register your new scout.

How much does it cost?

Annual dues are $210 (as set by the Northern Star Council). This fee covers the National and Council Registration Fees. During signup you can optionally add a subscription to Scout’s Life magazine for $15.

Our annual pack fundraiser funds additional expenses provided to each Scout:

Rank-specific Handbook (loaned to each Scout by Pack 46)

Rank Advancements: Earned rank emblems, Adventure belt loops & pins

Pinewood Derby race kit and Rocket Launch kit

No Scout is turned away for financial reasons and financial assistance is available during the signup process.

What gear do I need to buy?

Uniform shirt (needed after Kindergarten)

– Lions will be provided a T-shirt for their first year. No other uniform purchases are necessary.
– Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos Scouts wear the blue Cub Scout Uniform
– Arrow of Light Scouts wear the tan Scouts BSA Uniform

These may be purchased locally at the Base Camp Scout Shop, which will have the council strip already sewn on.

Pack 46 will provide pack & den number patches and a neckerchief so you do not need to buy these.

Scout belt (recommended) as the Scouts earn belt loops in their first years so it is a great way to display them.
