Annual dues are $205 (as set by the Northern Star Council). This fee covers the National and Council Registration Fees. During signup you can optionally add a subscription to Scout’s Life magazine for $15.
Our annual pack fundraiser funds additional expenses provided to each Scout:
Rank-specific Handbook (loaned to each Scout by Pack 46)
Rank Advancements: Earned rank emblems, Adventure belt loops & pins
Pinewood Derby race kit and Rocket Launch kit
You can pay in two equal installments at no extra charge and no Scout is turned away for financial reasons. Financial assistance is available.
Items that the Scout needs:
Uniform shirt:
– Lions will be provided a T-shirt for their first year. No other uniform purchases are necessary.
– Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos Scouts wear the blue Cub Scout Uniform
– Arrow of Light Scouts wear the tan Scouts BSA Uniform
These may be purchased locally at the Base Camp Scout Shop, which will have the council strip already sewn on.
Pack 46 will provide the necessary pack number and den number patches, neckerchief and slide – there is no need to purchase these separately. These will be provided in the fall after the first pack event.
Scout belt is recommended as the Scouts earn belt loops so it is a great way to display them. Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts earn Adventure pins, and a separate device will be provided by the pack for displaying those on the uniform to Scouts at that level.
